Lambertville:  Audrey Johnson Holcombe, 87, passed away on Thursday December 12, 2019 at the Rolling Hills Care Center. Born in Perkasie, Pa. Audrey moved to Lambertville in 1952.  She and her late husband Jake Holcombe raised five daughters.  She was a very family oriented person and love babysitting her grandchildren and countless neighborhood children alike.  A lady with a very strong Catholic Faith, she was a member of St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church and an active member of St. John’s Catholic School PTA during the time her children attended the parish school. Daughter of the late Lawrence and Muriel Heller Johnson, widow of Jake Holcombe and sister of the late Ronald Johnson, she is survived by five daughters and four sons-in-law, Cathy and Joe Wooden of Ringoes, Vicki Garrahan of Smyrna, DE, Mary Lou and Bill Cleary of Lambertville, Janet and Tom Durborow of East Amwell, Jackie and Frank Kruty of St. Augustine Fl., her grandchildren Heather and her husband Craig Evans, Briana and Brett Durborow, Thomas Durborow and his wife Kelly, Caitlyn Childress and her husband Jordan, Jacquelyn Garrahan, and Jacob Kruty and four great grandchildren, Jack, Emerson, Camden and Aspen Childress. Audrey is also survived by two sisters Elizabeth Ameden, Kathy Bates, two sisters in law Joan B. Johnson and Dorothy Holcombe. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday December 18 at 10:30 am at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Bridge St. Lambertville.  Burial will follow in the Holcombe-Riverview Cemetery, Delaware Twp.  Visitation will Wednesday from 9:00 am – 10:15 am at the Garefino Funeral Home, 12 N Franklin St. Lambertville, NJ. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Evangelist R.C Church, 13 N. Main St., Lambertville, NJ 08530.
