Carolyn played the organ at my wedding, November 18, 2000. The organ is something I loved hearing growing up in church. I knew her from Second English Presbyterian Church, where my father was the pastor. Even though I was an adult, I got to live in the manse for close to a year. She was a person of the incredibly loving and caring community there. I remember after she accepted my request to play at our wedding, I asked about payment. When she insisted it was her gift to us, I was elated. I'm fairly certain that since it was in the early stages of planning the wedding, it was our first wedding present, at least it was the first that we knew of. She contributed to something beautiful for us. ~ Edna Voegele
