Obituary for Edgar "Ed" Spicer Jr.
Edgar “Ed” Spicer, Jr., 88 passed away Saturday May 20, 2023 at Chandler Hall Care Center in Newtown.
Born in Trenton, Ed had lived in Lambertville for many years. He served in the United States Air Force and was very proud of his military service. He was a member of the 804th Combat Support Group Strategic Air Command during the Korean War.
Ed worked for Princeton Hospital for 42 years retiring as the supervisor of Materials Management.
Son of the late Edgar Spicer, Sr. and Carolyn L. Derry, and widower of Alice Ader Spicer, he is survived by his son Ed Spicer, III, and his wife Michelle, his daughter Patty Schu and her husband Jim, his 4 grandchildren, Timothy, Joshua, David Spicer, Rachel Schu, his 5 great grandchildren, Christian, Hudson, Gavin, Sophia and Lorelai Spicer.
Graveside services with United States Air Force Military Honors will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Chandler Hall, 99 Barclay St., Newtown, Pa. 18940.
