Obituary for Eleanor Rufh
Eleanor Grimes Rufh, at the Preferred Care at Mercer in Ewing Twp. on March 25, 2023.
Born and raised in New Hope, Pa. Eleanor moved to Center Bridge Pa., in 1960. She was a member of the Stockton Presbyterian Church, played the piano and harmonica, enjoyed quilting and had worked as a domestic for numerous area families.
Daughter of the late Charles H. and Ada P. Fox Grimes, widow of Robert “Raymond” Rufh, Sr. mother of the late Barbara Ann Rufh and sister of the late Charles and Donald Grimes, she is survived by two daughters, Nancy Myers, Eleanor Horvath, two sons Robert R. Rufh, I and his wife Chari, James Rufh, and seven grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday March 29, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Garefino Funeral Home, 12 N. Franklin St., Lambertville. Burial will follow in the Holcombe-Riverview Cemetery, Delaware Twp. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
