Lambertville; Elisa “Alice” Pittore Hartpence, 87 died Thursday May 14, 2020 at her home. A lifelong resident of Lambertville, Alice was a member of St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church and its Altar and Rosary Society. She retired from the State of New Jersey as an executive assistant with thirty-two years of service, after having served two governors and nine attorney generals. She was a member of the Veteran’s of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary and the American Legion Post # 120 Ladies Auxiliary. Daughter of the late Joseph and Maria Basilico D’Annunzio Pittore, widow of George “Hap” Hartpence, sister of the late Pasquale, Phillip, Michael and Anne Pittore, she is survived by one brother Angelo Pittore, her three sons; George Hartpence and his wife Carol, Dr. Michael Hartpence and his wife Leah, Dr. Andrew Hartpence and his wife Beth, one daughter Mary Ann O’Brien and her fiancée Bill Kelly, and her grandchildren, Meghan, Kathleen and Jack O’Brien, Scott, Daniel, Matthew, Alec and Cassie Hartpence, Olivia, Amanda and Matthew Bouchard. She is also survived by her loving caregiver, Ketevan “Kathy” Berishvilli. Graveside services will be held privately at the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Lambertville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John’s R.C. Church in Lambertville at a later date.   Memorial contributions can be made to the St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
