Obituary for Elizabeth "Betty" Bowe (Shoemaker)
Lambertville: Elizabeth “Betty” Bowe, 89 passed away Thursday October 22 at her home.
A lifelong resident of Lambertville Betty had been a member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Lambertville. For many years she worked as a bank teller at the New Hope Pa. branch of the Continental Bank which then became the PNC Bank at the time of her retirement.
Daughter of the late Raymond Shoemaker and Nettie Callan Shoemaker, Betty was Mother of the late John Bowe and the youngest of four children. She was predeceased by her brothers Robert and Raymond Shoemaker and her sister Mary Elliott.
Betty is survived by her husband of 68 years Harry “Huck” Bowe, her daughter Antoinette “Toni” Brush and her husband Marc, her son Tom Bowe, six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family under the direction of the Garefino Funeral Home in Lambertville. For further information visit www.Garefino.com
