Obituary for Floyd W Updergrove Sr.
Stockton: Floyd W. Updegrove, Sr., 91 passed away Wednesday September 29 at this home.
A longtime resident of Stockton, Floyd served in the United States Army during the Korean War. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed both hunting and fishing and was a member of the Stockton Rod and Gun Club. He retired from the Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington in the maintenance department after many years of employment.
Son of the late Floyd E. Updegrove and Hannah Kerr Updegrove, and widower of Marie Snyder Updegrove, he is survived by his son Floyd W. Updegrove, Jr., his daughter in law Bonnie Mecca, his grandchildren Ashli and Brett Updegrove.
Keeping with Floyd’s wishes there will be no services. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Stockton Fire Co., PO Box 47, Stockton, NJ 08559.
