All my family were so saddened to hear of Joan's passing. She was the real deal in the wife, mother, grandmother and friend department. Joan was a shining example to all who met her as to what family is all about. She will be sadly missed by everyone whose life she touched. We will miss her smile, laugh, cheerfulness and caring ways. All the wonderful memories of Joan will forever be in your hearts. Our prayers and condolences to Jim, her beautiful daughters and all the Pierman family during this difficult time. She was loved by all. Joe and Dolores Yannarella ~ Joe and Dolores Yannarella, Edmond, Oklahoma

Bob and family...Paul and I were saddened by the sudden passing of Joan. When we lived on Perry St., we quickly became like family. You and Joan were our role models for what a loving couple, terrific parents, and a beautiful home and family should be. We havent seen you in awhile, but know we thought of you often and still love you like our family. God bless you all! She will be missed by all who knew her.....We love you and are praying for you. ~ Carol & Paul Sigafoos, Little River, South Carolina
