Lambertville:  JoAnn George, 77 died Tuesday August 27 at Capital Health in Trenton. Born in Indian Land, Pa., JoAnn had lived in Lambertville for over 50 years. She had been employed by the Lambertville House and the Lambertville Station as a breakfast hostess.  JoAnn was fond of all animals especially her cats. Daughter of the late Leroy and Mernerva George, she is survived by her longtime companion Fini Vasey and her daughters Renee McCormick and her husband Bobby, Terri Marriott and her husband Jack, one brother Leroy George Jr.  and his wife Lynn, several nieces, nephews, and  grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday August 30 at 11:00 am at the Garefino Funeral Home, 12 N.Franklin St. Lambertville, NJ.  Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in Clinton, NJ. Calling hour will be Friday from 10:00 am until the time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tabby’s Place 1100 US Highway 202, Ringoes, NJ 08551.
