Obituary for John T Bowling III
Plumstead Twp.: John T. Bowling, III passed away at his home on Wednesday October 6, 2021.
Born in Baltimore, Maryland, John resided in Clearwater Florida from 1966 to1982. He has been a resident of Plumstead Township since 1985. A self employed floor and carpet installer since he was 18 years of age, he owned “John Bowling Floor Covering Service”. One of John’s treasured pastimes was spending time with his family and friends, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, listening to music and target shooting. John enjoyed people from all walks of life and was best known as a true conversationalist by his family and friends. John was always willing to reach out and help anyone in need.
Son of the late John T. Bowling, Jr. and Millicent C. Baron and brother of the late Carol Tweten he is survived by his wife of forty years Virginia “Ginny” Ledger Bowling, son Sean and his wife Sarah, son Scott and daughter Victoria, his siblings Steve Bowling and his wife Sue, Kathleen Hmiel and her husband Luke, Mary Jane Varvaro and her husband Barry, Maggie Gagne and her husband Lee, his granddaughters Claire Elizabeth and Natalie Margaret Bowling, several nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members and many friends.
A tribute to John will be held Tuesday October 12 at 11:00 am at the Lambertville Elks Lodge # 1070, 66 Wilson St., Lambertville, NJ 08530.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lambertville Elks Lodge, # 1070.
