Obituary for John "Jack" Wiley

John “Jack” Wiley, 84, passed away Sunday December 26 at the Oxford Rehabilitation and Health Center.

Born and raised in Stockton, Jack had lived in Ewing Twp. for 30 years. He retired from Princeton University in the maintenance department in 1981 with over 20 years of employment. Jack was a tremendous reader and an American History buff. During his time at Princeton University, he was asked from time to time to give tours of the campus to dignitaries and celebrities including past Presidents of the United States. Jack was a life member of the Lambertville Elks and enjoyed coming back to Lambertville quite regularly to visit old friends.

Son of the late Joseph and Anna Reilly Wiley, widower of Mary Ann Wiley and long time companion of the late Helen “Toni” Holsneck, he is survived by three children, Kevin Wiley and his wife Katherine, Kelly Hoernle and her husband William, Brian Wiley, his sister Emma Finan, and his four grandchildren Samantha, Madison, Ryan and Erin Wiley.

A celebration of Jack’s life will be celebrated at a later date.
