Obituary for John Wilson, Jr.

John A. Wilson, Jr., 57, passed away Wednesday April 19 at Capital Health in Hopewell Twp.

A lifelong resident of W. Amwell Township, John served in the United States Navy for 21 years. During his service time, he worked as an electronics technician in various capacities including submarine repair, submarine damage control and was an instructor in many areas. A well-rounded handy man, John was proficient in welding, electrical work, electronics, plumbing and various other aspects of construction. For the past 5 years he worked as an electrician’s assistant for A.C.H. Electrical in Lambertville.

Son of the late John A. Wilson, Sr. and Carol Bowers Wilson uncle of the late Joseph Britton, he is survived by his wife Dayna Wilson of Anchorage Alaska, two sisters Kimberly Britton and her husband Scott, Cyndee Sindelar and her husband Martin and his nephew Thomas Britton.

Private burial with United States Navy Honors will be private and held May 9, 2023 at 11:00 m at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown, Pa.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research.
