Obituary for Margaret E "Peg" Fetters

Solebury Twp. Margaret “Peg” Fetters, 88 passed away Monday January 17, 2022 at Artis Senior Living in Yardley, Pa.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Peg lived in Stockton for a number of years before moving to Solebury Twp., Pa in 1999. A licensed real estate agent and broker, she worked at various real estate offices and retired in 2008 from Weidel Realtors in New Hope, Pa. A former member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Lambertville, and a current member of St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in New Hope, Peg was devoted to the Blessed Mother and praying the Rosary. She was a contributor to both the Military Order of the Purple Heart and Wounded Warriors.

Daughter of the late Paul and Margaret Farrell Durkin, widow of Richard T. Fetters, mother of the late Kathleen Paferi, sister of the late Paul Durkin and sister-in-law of the late Blanche Durkin, and grandmother of the late Stephen Galdi, she is survived by two sons, Richard J. Fetters and his wife Theresa Marie, Thomas Fetters and his wife Tracy, one daughter Patricia Snyder, three brothers Fran Durkin and his wife Constance, Thomas and Jim Durkin and his wife Ruth, her son-in-law Gary Paferi. Peg was a proud grandmother of Allison Mack and her husband Jason, Amy Potts and her husband Donald, Bennett Snyder and his wife Anna, Shay Fetters and great grandmother to Brendan Mack, Daniel and Anna Potts and Leo Snyder.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday January 21 at 12:00 noon at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Lambertville. Burial will follow in the Rosemont Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday January 21 from 10:30 am until time for departure for the church at the Garefino Funeral Home, 12 N. Franklin St. Lambertville, NJ.
