Obituary for Marjorie Gazzillo
Marjorie Rufe Gazzillo, 91 passed away on Sunday November 20, 2022.
Born in Dublin Pa., Marjorie had lived in Lambertville for over 70 years. She was a member of St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church in New Hope, Pa. For 29 years she worked at the South Side Laundromat in
Lambertville and prior to that at Gerling’s Nursery in Buckingham.
Marjorie was a pillar of Lambertville, and the neighborhood parents always knew where their children were and that they would be well fed and safe.
Marjorie was the loving mother of 17 children and a grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother that spanned 5 generations. She was always present at their events as young children and into their teenage years.
Mother of the late Albert, Dominic and Joseph she is survived by 8 daughters, Marjorie Todd, Elvira Catanzareti, Patricia Gazzillo, Mary Ann Roberts, Helen Gazzillo, Carol Anne Ransin, Anna Jones, Tracy Lee
Gazzillo, 6 sons, John Jr., Anthony, Christopher, Michael, Patrick, Carl, ex- wife of John J. Gazzillo.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday November 26 at 11:00 am at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 1 Riverstone Circle, New Hope, Pa. Burial will follow in the Holcombe Riverview Cemetery, Delaware Twp. Calling hours will be Friday November 25, from 5-8 pm at the Garefino Funeral Home, 12 N. Franklin St. Lambertville, NJ.
