Obituary for Michael McGuire
Michael E. McGuire, 66 died Monday January 31 following a brief illness at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.
Born in Flemington, Michael was raised in Lambertville and was a graduate of South Hunterdon Regional High School Class of 1974. A talented softball player, Michael enjoyed antiquing and roaming the local flea markets. He loved to travel to Atlantic City, Seaside Heights and Disney World. As an avid sports fan, he enjoyed watching and attending baseball and basketball games. He retired in 2018 from Oppenheimer Precision Products in Horsham.
Son of the late William J. McGuire, Sr., brother of the late William J. (Bill) McGuire, Jr. and widower of Kristine McGuire, he is survived by his mother Kathryn Olson McGuire, three daughters, Tara Duane and her husband
Michael and their daughter Hannah, Erin Jainnini and her husband Patrick, Alyona Rybakova, two sisters, Andrea Justice and her husband Jim, Tina Lindekugel, along with many beloved nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held privately at a later date with burial in St. John the Evangelist R.C. Cemetery, Lambertville.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
