Lambertville: Peter Wade Reimer, 75 died Monday February 1, 2021 at the Hunterdon Medical Center.
Born and raised in Garwood, NJ, Pete had lived in Flemington and moved to Lambertville in 1991. Pete served in the United States Air Force and was a patriotic American. He was employed by Bell Telephone and retired as a line technician. One of Pete’s great interests in life was the railroad. He was very involved in the Black River and Western Railroad in Ringoes and was the curator of their museum.
Son of the late William and Dorothy Reimer, father of the late Emily Ann McGuire, he is survived by his wife of 29 years Norma Wood Reimer, one daughter Carolyn Fuchs and her husband Dan, one son Michael Niece, his granddaughter Shannon Rost and her husband Daryl, his great grandchildren Rylan, Renner and Rhett Rost and one brother William Reimer and his wife Carolyn.
Funeral services will be held Saturday February 6, 2021 at 10:00 am at the Garefino Funeral Home, 12 N. Franklin St. Lambertville. Burial with United States Air Force Honors will follow at the Holcombe Riverview Cemetery, Delaware Twp. Calling hour will be Saturday from 9:00 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
