Obituary for Porfirio Quiroz

New Hope, Pa. Porfirio Quiroz 69 años falleció sábado Diciembre 12, en la casa de su hijo y familia en Doylestown.

Nacido en Oaxaca México, Porfirio vino a los Estados Unidos por la primera vez en 1988 y regreso a México. En 1995 finalmente vino con su hijo Guillermo Quiroz y vivo en los Estados Unidos por los últimos 25 anos. El era dueño de la tienda Memo Wear en el four sesons mall por muchos años y trabajo como landscaper y en New Hope Market en los años mas recientes. Tambien asistia St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church en Lambertville.

Hijo de difunto Victor Quiroz y Maria Elena Olea Galindo, le sobreviven su esposa Antonia Salas, hijos(a), Guillermo Quiroz, Victor Quiroz, Nancy Quiroz, Miguel Quiroz, Fernando Cruz, Susana cruz, tres hermanos, Margarito Quiroz, Tivo Quiroz, Agustin Quiroz, una hermana Jovita Quiroz, nietos, Guillermo Kevin Quiroz, Shakira Quiroz, Angel Quiroz, Michelle Quiroz, Solei Quiroz, Victoria Quiroz y varios sobrinos(a).

El velorio será jueves (12/18) de las 6 - 8 pm en la funeraria Garefino, (12 N. Franklin St. Lambertville, NJ 08530). La misa de cuerpo presente será viernes (12/19) a las 10 a.m. en la iglesia de Lambertville (St. John the Evangelist Church) seguido por el entierro en Doylestown.

New Hope, Pa. Porfirio Quiroz 69 yrs old died on Saturday December 12, at his son’s home in Doylestown.

Born in Oaxaca Mexico, Porfirio came to the United States for the first time in 1988 and returned to Mexico soon after. In 1995 he came for the last time with his son Guillermo Quiroz and lived in the United States for the last 25 years. He owned the Memo Wear store at the four seasons mall for many years and worked as a landscaper and at New Hope Market in more recent years. He also attended St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church in Lambertville.

Son of the late Victor Quiroz and Maria Elena Olea Galindo, he is survived by his wife Antonia Salas, six sons and daughters, Guillermo Quiroz, Victor Quiroz, Nancy Quiroz, Miguel Quiroz, Fernando Cruz, Susan Cruz, three brothers, Margarito Quiroz, Tivo Quiroz, Austin Quiroz, one sister Jovita Quiroz, six grandchildren, Guillermo Kevin Quiroz, Shakira Quiroz, Angel Quiroz, Michelle Quiroz, Solei Quiroz, Victoria Quiroz and several nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday December 18 at 10:00 am at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Bridge St., Lambertville, NJ. Burial will follow in the Doylestown Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 pm at the Garefino Funeral Home, 12 N. Franklin St. Lambertville, NJ 08530.
