Obituary for Rena Menzel
Rena Menzel, 84, passed away Monday, May 9, 2022, at the Stone Creek Care Center in Edmond, OK.
A resident of Trenton until three years ago, Rena had worked many years for the New Jersey State Police as an administrator and later in the State Police gift shop in West Trenton. She was a member of Central Baptist - A Christ-Centered Church in Pennington. Rena enjoyed music, loved to dance, and was very social and family-oriented.
Daughter of the late Ferdinando and Carmella “DiFiore” Paterra, she is survived by her daughter Diana Paterra and her wife Lisa Nichols, her son Steven Menzel, her brother Ralph Paterra and his wife Joan, her grandchildren, Jessica, Stephen and his wife Arianna, Michael Menzel, great-grandchildren Gemma, Angeline, and Sloane, her daughter in law Michele Menzel, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, June 9th, at 11:00 am at Ewing Church Cemetery, Scotch Rd. Ewing, NJ.
Instead of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Traditions Heath, Hospice of Central Oklahoma, or the Alzheimer's New Jersey, 425 Eagle Rock Avenue, #203, Roseland, NJ 07068
