Obituary for Robert F "Bob" Bramble Sr.

Robert F. Bramble, Sr. died on March 9, 2024 at 6:30 am with his daughters holding his hands while the angels escorted him into Glory from Lancaster General Hospital in Lancaster PA.

After being a longtime resident of Lambertville NJ and raising his children there, he retired from NJ Dept. of Transportation as Master Mechanic and moved to Gordonville PA in 1995 to be near his best friend of 70 years “Quickie” Wayne Quick & family. Bob was also a master woodworker, although he favored reproducing 18th century furniture which could be found in his home, he made many pieces for family & friends through the years. He always enjoyed driving & showing his 2007 Mustang GT which he built online and customized to his personal liking.

He attended church at Bellevue Presbyterian Church in Gap PA. Most importantly, he accepted Christ as his Lord & Savior in 2009 through Dr. Charles Stanley/In Touch Ministries in which he felt led to consistently sow into.

Son of the late Joseph F. Bramble & Irene Dilione Bramble, son-in-law of the late Raymond & Rose Brink, brother-in-law of the late Richard Naylor and Edward & Eileen Martin, father of the late Robert F. Bramble, Jr., and uncle of the late Edward Martin, Jr.; he is survived by his childrens’ mother and first wife-Lorraine, current wife-Lois Holcombe Bramble, two daughters-Shawn Lofaro (husband Mario) and Cheryl Godown; one sister-Linda Naylor, six grandchildren-Lyndsay, Brianna, Larissa, Payton, Justin, and Ryan, Jr., three great grandchildren-Derek, Talia and Colton, two nieces-Erin and Alycia, one nephew-Richard, and several aunts & cousins.

A public graveside service will be held Saturday April 6, 2024 at 3:00pm, followed by a private internment for the family only at the Union Cemetery on Boss Rd. in Ringoes NJ.
