Stockton:  Robert H. Scarboro, 87 died Monday March 9, 2020 at the Buckingham Valley Care Center. Born in Lumberville, Pa., Bob had lived in Stockton for over sixty years. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Employed as a carpenter, Bob worked for Hewitt & Danese Contractors for 52 years, retiring in 2010.  He was a member of the Doylestown Maennerchor Club, the Stockton Rod and Gun Club, was an avid bowler and enjoyed gardening. Son of the late Lloyd W. Scarboro and Phyllis Shaw  Scarboro,  he is survived by his wife of sixty nine years Eleanor Snyder Scarboro, he is survived by one daughter Jeanette Neise and her husband Erich, one son Robert Scarboro, and one grandson Erich R. Neise. Funeral services will be held Thursday March 12 at 10:00am at the Garefino Funeral Home, 12 N. Franklin St. Lambertville. Burial will follow with United States Army Funeral Honors at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown, Pa. Visitation will be from 9:00 am Thursday until the time of the service.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Stockton Fire Co., PO Box 47, Stockton, NJ 08559.
