Obituary for Rose A Ennis (Collazo)

The family of Rose Ennis is saddened to announce the passing of their beloved mother, who passed peacefully at home with family by her side on September 17, 2022.

Born and raised in West Amwell, Rose married her high school sweetheart Steve Ennis, and raised their family in Lambertville. Rose was a 30-year survivor of a brain aneurysm and lived out her life surrounded by her loved ones. As a young mother, Rose worked as a home health aide and cleaned house’s part time. She was a member of St. John’s the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church in Lambertville.

Later in life, Rose spent her final years watching her 6 grandchildren grow. She shared laughter and built memories with them that will last a lifetime.

Daughter of the late Juan Collazo and Shirley Hart Collazo, Rose was predeceased by her sister Catherine Leighton Joyce, her beloved husband Steve Ennis and her infant son Steven. Rose is survived by her sister Julie Wirick and her husband Tom, brother John Collazo and wife Pat, her sister-in-law Fran Starr, brother-in-law Tom Ennis and his wife Eileen, sister-in-law Pauline Biggs and husband Tom, her four children, Jeanette Pigeon and her husband Chris, Sarah Holcombe and her husband Scott, Stephanie Lemonds, and Thomas Ennis and several nieces and nephews. Rose was the proud grandmother, and will be sorely missed by her 6 grandchildren, Jonathan (JT) and Nathan Pidgeon, Ashlyn, Kamryn, and Madelyn
Holcombe and Stella Lemonds.

Graveside services will take place Wednesday September 21, 2022 at 11:15 am at the Holcombe-Riverview Cemetery, Delaware Twp. There will be no calling hours.
