Obituary for Ruth Jeanette Hall
W. Amwell Twp.: Ruth Jeanette Cooper Hall, 67 passed away on Sunday January 2, 2022 at Hunterdon Medical Center after a short battle with Covid.
Born and raised in W. Amwell Twp., Ruth had volunteered as a regional leader with the Girl Scouts of America for a number of years, followed by being employed with GSA as Program Director for many more years . She
previously served as the Zoning Board Secretary for West Amwell Township. More recently she volunteered at the Universalist Unitarian Church in Kingwood, NJ. and was employed at West Windsor Township Code Enforcement as Receptionist.
She and her husband Joe were very fond of Chihuahua puppies and they raised many over the years.
Daughter of the late Charles H. Cooper Sr. and Coriene Stuart Cooper, she is survived by her husband of 35 years, Joseph J. Hall, two daughters, Tina Louise Eick and her husband George, Charity Payne Hall , two sisters, Mary Ann Hartman and her husband Gerald, Donna McCombs, one brother Charles H. Cooper., Jr. and his wife Christina, her grandson Jonathan Eick who was the apple of her eye, her nephew Jason A. Hartman and Miranda Leiggi, her two beloved Chihuahua’s, Pepper and Belle and kitty, Scooter and many other extended family members.
A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date and there will be no calling hours.
