For over 2 decades she was a proud supporter of South Hunterdon Regional High School Sports and was involved in various clubs and organizations that raised money for SHRHS sports teams. Sandra was proud to be named the “Honorary Grandma of the SHRHS Field Hockey Team,” in 2006-2009.
Sandra is survived by a son Stew Burroughs and his wife Patti, 2 granddaughters Andrea Gurba and her husband Tom, Jenna Spence and her husband David, and 4 great-grandchildren, Hailee and Jackson Gurba and Colton and Bella Spence, and her brother Gary Tate and companion Penny Barr, and several nephews and nieces.
