Obituary for Thomas P Prall

West Amwell Twp: Thomas P. Prall, 86, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, April 11, 2020. Born April 25, 1933 in Trenton, NJ he was a lifelong resident of Lambertville and West Amwell Township area, Tom graduated from Lambertville High School in 1951. In 1952 he enlisted in the United States Navy serving four years and is a Korean War Veteran. He had attended the First Presbyterian Church of Lambertville and had been a church Deacon. He worked for Electric Storage Battery Company in Yardley, PA which later became Exide for over 24 years designing circuit boards. After retiring he worked part time for a number of years for Heath’s Auto Parts and Stanley Cleaners both located in Lambertville. Tom was a member of the Amwell Lodge #12 F & AM in Lambertville and had served as a Grand Master of the Lodge and was a member of the American Legion Post #120, Lambertville. Son of the late Horace G. and Inez Post Prall, brother of the late Horace G., Jr. and John S. Prall and father-in-law of the late David McCloughan, Sr., he is survived by his wife of over 61 years, Joan Worthington Prall, two daughters, Mary Lisa McCloughan of Lambertville, and Jennifer Fleming and her husband Brion of Frenchtown, five grandchildren, David Jr., Caitlyn and Thomas McCloughan and Zachary and Kylie Fleming and one great-grandson, Jaxson McCloughan. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Barbara Prall and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held privately at the Holcombe Riverview Cemetery, Delaware Twp. under the direction of the Garefino Funeral Home, Lambertville. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The American Heart Association, 1 Union Street, Suite 301 Robbinsville, NJ, 08691.
