Obituary for Vincent G McGinnis
Washington Crossing Pa.: Vincent G. McGinnis, 78 died Sunday March 14 at Neshaminy Manor in Warrington, Pa.
Born and raised in St. Louis, Vince moved to Washington Crossing in 1979. He served in the United States Army Reserves and was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Lambertville. Vince received a Bachelor’s Degree from Washington University and a Master’s Degree in finance from St. Louis University. Vince retired from Maritz Travel Corporation in St. Louis with 35 years of employment. An avid golfer, Vince loved spending time with his five grandchildren.
Son of the late Edward and Jayne Mahoney McGinnis and brother of the late Kevin McGinnis, he is survived by his wife of 55 years Judith, two daughters, Kristen Linkewich and her husband Edward, Meghan Smith and her husband Jason, three sisters, Beverly Bockerstett and her husband Alan, Jeanne Matthews and her husband James, Jayne McCoy and her husband Robert and his five grandchildren, Tara, Catherine and Cole Smith, Kira and Kyle Linkewich, her sister-in law Delores McGinnis, Barbara Oseck and her husband Kurt, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday March 18, at 11:00 am at St. John’s Catholic Church, Bridge St. Lambertville, NJ. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery in Newtown Pa. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-8 pm at the Garefino Funeral, 12 N Franklin St. Lambertville, NJ.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s New Jersey 425 Eagle Rock Ave. Roseland, NJ 07068.
