Obituary for William J "Jim" Muscatell Sr.
William “Jim” Muscatell 89, died Saturday December 24, 2022 at the Reading Hospital, Reading, Pa.
Born in Trenton, Jim lived most of his life in Lambertville, spent some time in Sebastian Fl, and in Reinholds, Pa. since 1993. He retired as a Planner and Estimator in the Public Works Department of the Naval Air Propulsion Center in Trenton with 32 years of employment. Jim enjoyed his daily walks, had an interest in humming birds and was a devoted family man to his wife, children and grandchildren.
Son of the late William and Winefred Lawton Muscatell, father of the late William James Muscatell, Jr. who died in 1981, he is survived by his wife of 67 years Dolores Moran Muscatell, his four children, Cindy Jones and her husband John, David Muscatell and his wife Shari, Donna Mohn and her husband Michael, Gary Muscatell, his eight grandchildren, Jim Muscatell, Joseph, Charlie and Nicola Papa, Stephanie and David Muscatell, Michael J. Mohn, Sarah DiAlto and seven great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Thursday December 29 at 12:30 at the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Lambertville. Calling hour will be from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon at the Garefino Funeral Home, 12 N. Franklin St. Lambertville, NJ.
