Pete was the Heart and Soul of the Black River and Western railroad for nearly 50 years and one of the nicest guys you could ever meet. I had the honor of knowing him almost 40 years, especially when I volunteered at the railroad. He loved telling stories about the railroad and being the curator of the museum car, which I'm sure will be named in his honor. Rest In Peace, Pete. My deepest condolences to his family and the Black River family.
